Winter Weather Advisory #1
Good evening everyone,
It’s officially that time of year, and we are expecting our first potential snowfall of the season. November had been good to us so far- we experienced a record breaking high temperature of 75 degrees on November 10th! But, it looks like things are going to start to cool down now.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Chicagoland beginning tomorrow around 6 AM until Wednesday at 6 AM. Predicted accumulation varies by location, but will begin working it’s way from South to North. This system may have an impact on the morning commute.
The ground temperatures are still warm, so we do not currently anticipate any of this snow to stick. Rather, we may see a slushy mixture of rain and snow that doesn’t amount to more than an inch on paved surfaces.
We will keep you updated with the service plan if the forecast changes.
*All pre-approved accounts that are currently under contract will be provided service as conditions dictate. If you would like an ice melt application or any plowing services prior to the 2″ trigger at your property, please reach out to your Winter Werks representative as soon as possible. We can also be reached at info@mi–roofing.com.
